I just bought a 01 tj with a 4 in long arm suspension lift and a 3 in body lift. I would like to run 33x10.5 x15 inch tires. My question is can I take the 3 inch body lift off and run a 1 or 1.25 body inch lift instead. The jeep is way to high for my likely. What should I look for in lowering the body? Thanks-Don

Yes you can. installing or removing a 3 inch body lift is mess either way, but it is a good idea to get rid of it. With 33s you could run no body lift if you preferred, but there are many advantages to a small body lift.

Yes but a small body lift add the possibility of doing a tummy tuck. You can run 33s with only 4" lift.

You can remove it completely... but you will need shorter bolts in all 11 positions, plus relocate your radiator and/or fan shroud depending on how it was done. Then linkage will need to be addressed for t-case.
