Hi! I have a brand new 2015 wrangler. I washed it today and noticed tons of rust spots in the paint. Mostly on the doors.
I haven't done anything with this jeep yet except drive to and from work -- 10 miles round trip.

Planning on calling the dealer in the morning. I have never seen this before on any vehicle.

Any advice? Thanks!

It's possible the spots are from transport and not your vehicle.

Had that on a white car before. Brake dust.

Update: I took it to the dealer and it is rail dust. They are going to take care of it free of charge.
Thank you all for the info!

clay bar is basically a special clay used for automotive paint particle remover. it picks up all the impurities so that a fresh wash and polish can be applied.
