I ordered a new carb today for my 88 4.2. It's a weber 32/36. Does anyone have any tips for the installation or know of anything I may need?

I haven't received it yet. The shipping order said it would arrive on the 8th so hopefully it will be in Monday.

Did you use that Holley fuel regulator? I've seen people talking about putting a fuel reg on these carbs but thought I would try it out before buying anything else. Maybe I should go ahead and order one now.

Yea fuel regulator on it now. Runs better but when flooring it it bogs out before catching on. At mechanic now to see whats wrong or if other issue than carb. Hows yours making out?

I just put in a new engine and new Nemco carb in my 87 YJ. It ran great for a few days. Now it won't idle, runs rough. It finally straightens up after a while and runs correctly. Any thoughts?
