So 4 years ago we as in my wife and I made a decision to sell "the Jeep"...SMH yea i know :banghead: Well it turns out the other day i was in the gas station and there was a mildly lifted TJ there. Soon after i see it, the sound of the starter kicked and mild growl of what could only be the exact dynomax exhuast i had on mine came alive. That did it for me went home and told the wife about the flashback and instantly she said lets get another one! (hence one of the many reasons i married her!) so with that being said i began my search!:thumb: Not even a full month later i found a few that i was interested in, and one i was going to buy got sold out from under me. So after being majorly bummed out about it, we almost went for another one, her being sold on the color of it and myself not feeling that instant love we became on the fence about that one also. Ok so now i was feeling like giving up and looking again in the spring. Then it happened i saw one that seemed to good to be true! The price was more then right the options were dead on and so it turns out the color was the same as my previous one! So without hesitation i call up the bank and lock down the funds, having only made contact with the seller once i now had to wait the very long weekend to hear from him again! apparently he was on a trip and had no service while out there. Now this is feeling scammy to me and getting seriously bummed again. I must have called this guy about 40-50 times over the past three days! We spoke about meeting up but didnt lock any plans and the jeep was still listed as for sale! Its killing me at this point to not be able to lock something down with this guy. The jeep was located about 7 hours from me and i was so paranoid that he was going to sell it locally! So finally after another 2 days and Bam! i got him on the phone and he tells me a time and place. Im so relived and nervous at the same time that after all this it was going to be a compolete bomb and not at all like the pics which were not that great to begin with. But i had done my reasearch and knew what it was worth. So anyway i show up and he shows an hour late.. which was also adding to my nervousness, but as he rolled up man i knew it was the one and boy was i relived! It wasnt cleaned and it wasnt preped up...just delivered and some how that made me feel even better about it. Knowing what i was looking at i knew it had major potential just needed to be cleaned up a bit and throughly gone through. So after chewing him down another $500 that turned out to be icing on the cake! i drove away with what is now a all to familiar friend!!!
So it begins another jeep build slightly diffrent then the first one yet almost exactly the same!
