I began my motorized JKU roof hoist project by strategically cutting open my garage ceiling over the weekend. Now I have a rough idea of the cable and suspension system I want to install. However, I've never needed pulleys and cables in my past construction projects. Frankly, I don't even know what mountable cable pulleys are called for a useful Google search.

I drew a rough sketch of what I think I need. But I don't see these in the big box hardware stores. Can anyone get me pointed in the right direction?: What is this called? Where can I find these in a brick & mortar store? (Would a farm equipment store be a worthwhile stop?) Is there a better swivel pulley product for my mount idea?

As an afterthought, maybe this doesn't even exist because of side forces on the swivel and I should be thinking of a mount/chain/loose pulley system. I'm not sure. Help!

A well stocked ACE Hardware has several different types of swivel pulleys...
I have a good assortment of them , thats where I got mine.
I have not built a top lift, but I am collecting parts to make one....
