I purchased the H4 Led headlights over a year ago and I've been having fits with them since (they are on their way to the land of jeep misfit toys if this isn't an option). I have diagnosed the reason my bulbs keep going in and out and it's due to the plug from the headlight to the factory harness being loose. My question is can I cut both plugs, he plug (harness) from the headlights and the factory plug (harness) and just direct wire them to alleviate the loose plug situation?

The harness upgrade is a good recommendation.... Just make sure you purchase the one that has the diode and capacitors installed in the harness. The capacitors will stop the relay chatter and burn out due to the CAN BUS voltage fluctuation, and the headlights will receive 14+ volts creating a brighter head light.
Installed this harness with some PIAA H4 headlights and bulbs; the difference while driving on dark country roads is quite noticeable.

^ Yes, and the one I listed has this built in just for the JK's.
