I have never reinforced my tube on my 03 Rubicon or any of my other wranglers running 33-35. After going on a few tail rides i couldn't believe how many JKs were bending axles. Is it just not that common on TJs? After seeing all the bent Cs was thinking about welding in some gussets... is it worth it? Just replaced all joints up front not really looking forward to changing them out again.

Jks are heavier, wider, often bigger tires, and the same axle construction....

^ that, and gussets can help a C from spreading or cranking, but do nothing for the less than adequate meat that encases the ball joints. 35's or less and it should handle it.
my guess would be if you want 37^, you'd be better off with 1 ton axles or tubes and aftermarket HD C's...........and the rear should then be swapped for a full float shaft design, none of this flanged axle stuff over 35's IMO.
