Ok my first post.....I just found out my 2.5 Jeep is a Calif Jeep ...I know as with everything from that state they got to mess it up...so is there anything like their EPA stuff on this Jeep that would choke it off as in HP. If so what can I do to fix it...yes it is a dog and any little bit helps....I am going to change out the fuel filter and pump since it has 130k miles on it and don't know if it was ever changed. Figured that would be a good place to start in case it is being choked off...Thank in advance.....

There is no special “EPA Stuff” on your rig that needs to be removed. No amount of tampering with smog equipment is going to yield power improvements on the 4 cylinder.

What year
Only 97-2000 TJ have calif specific emissions add ons
For example in 98 has a evap pump on calif only
Takes up space under hood but does not affect power

By 2001 they put calif emissions on all TJ to make them 50 state compliant
