I have a 2009 wrangler unlimited that I store for 6 months with the IOD fuse pulled. Letting friend use it for the week and the horn started going off (continuous beep) several hours after putting fuse back in and starting car. I always seem to have a few odd things happen with dash warning lights when I first start using the jeep after sitting but they go away within a couple of days. Do you think a weak battery is most likely causing this horn issue?

I've done a bunch of searches on this issue and it sometimes seems to be faulty horn or cruise control switches. I'm thinking it might just be battery related as I've had other odd issues before after letting it sit for several months.

Welcome to the Forum!

I know my horn would start honking in the middle of the night for no reason and it ended up being a bad battery. Once I replaced the battery the horn stopped honking. I would at least ensure the terminals are tight on the battery and probably get it checked.
