just do yourself a favor - remove all emblems and decals (as desired) as soon as you get your vehicle. I did mine on the first day. Got rid of the Jeep emblem on the grill, the "unlimited" sticker, the "sport" sticker.. and some "trail rated" medallion.
Do it before the paint fades.
BTW - i could still see the "JEEP" logo on my grill... so I plasti dipped that. Bam. gone.
They are easy to remove yourself! I just did it last week. Light heat with a heat gun to get the decals pretty warm to the touch and then peel them off. After that I used Goo gone to remove the remaining glue. Follow with a coat of polish/wax and you're set! 15-20 minutes start to finish, at most!
A hair dryer is all the heat you will need. Be careful if you use a heat gun. Goo Gone, 3M adhesive remover, Prep-Sol, etc. will all remove the leftover residue.
