My JK and apparently all other '13 JKs, as well as some earlier model years experience a significant delay from steering wheel horn switch closure 'till horn activation. From all the threads I've read on this, it's a Canbus issue.

I wonder if tapping the trigger lead from the horn switch (grn/blk), could activate a relay with diode isolated power leads to operate the stock horn without effecting other horn related Canbus actions such as horn honk on door lock, and the anti-theft system.

It would be easy enough to completely isolate each circuit via diodes on + and gnd, but am I overlooking something here?
