Going crazy trying to explain what I need.

Parts kids at autozone dont have a clue..
97 Jeep TJ 4 cyl power steering..
Need the pulley that adjust the serp belt- not the idler puller..

anyone know where to get this other then dealer ?

They cant be the same number as one is the idler 3in the one I need is the tenssioner pulley more like 3 1/2 inch maybe 3 5/8 ...:banghead:

There are two idler pulleys on both the 2.5 and 4.0. The idler that sits right below the P/S pump is the assembly that adjusts the tension. Now there may very well be more than one size of pulley depending whether you have A/C or not. Go to Napa or CarQuest, tell them exactly what configuration you have and they will get you the correct pulley.

Well here you go from the guy at Advance.
3 pulleys listed.
Flat face, 76mm, part # 80098
Flat face, 90mm, part # 89097
Grooved face, 90mm, part # 89012
