I was also looking at the back of my Jeep and I have the Bestop tire carrier so I don't know if I can make the ones that tie to the bumpers work. Both arms on the carrier may block that long tube arm in the back. So was the Gavin a relatively easy install?

"Relatively!" I had already installed the OR-Fab tire/can carrier on the back of my YJ prior to installing the Garvin Wilderness rack. The Garvin set up sandwiches the tub anywhere you penetrate it. So lots of pieces but well worth it.
I encountered two problems. 1. The G**^!da**& torx bolts on the windshield hinge. Had to drill one out (stripped torx). Broke the easy-out and had to now redrill through the easy-out. and 2. I am one attachment short on the right rear due to my tire carrier. Need to cut the bracket and grind some paint off the carrier attachement and weld the bracket on.
