I have looked over the sight and seen a lot of info on fuel economy. I know the short answer is poor but my issue is more of it changes constantly.

I got the TJ about 8 weeks ago with 48,000 miles on it. At that time the MPG was 9.5 to 13. I cleaned the air filter, changed oil and changed spark plugs. I also added a can of BG44K to the fuel just before a 400 mile trip. Now I get any where from 12 to 15.5.

I can't find what's making the MPG change so much. I set the cruse at 65 and for the most part the driving conditions are the same, same road, same temp, same wind but yet I don't get the same results.

I've seen some say it could be O2 sensors, it there a way to check? I have plug in my scanner and there are no codes.

Thanks for any help you may have.

Depends on where you are driving, weather, and where you buy gas...
Some gas stations are changing over to summer blended gas now from winter blended gas here in the Midwest too.
