Hi, I have an '05 Wrangler. My check gauges light is coming on while driving (sometimes at a very low speed sometimes at a highway speed). All gauges go down for a second or so and then everything goes back to normal. This started happening after I changed the battery in January. Last week my mech changed the clutch, timing belt, and spark plugs. For the first few days, everything seemed fine, but it happened multiple times today. I was in a very heavy traffic and there were steep hills. It kept happening in 1, 2, 3rd gears. I was wondering what could cause it. Some electrical issues? I haven't had any big problem but it makes me wonder every single time.

So you have the 2.4 four cylinder engine

Check battery cables clean tight both ends both cables and insure where cable enters lead battery clamp it is not corroded badly or otherwise damaged

Then check tub to engine ground
