Hey all, I am looking for input regarding a weird chirping noise that is coming from my engine. I have 2015 automatic wrangler with 19k miles. This issue started about 5k miles ago. Dealer could not find problem, but I realized after the fact that they most likely only checked it while in park in the shop. This noise happens when I am in gear and driving, at any speed, warm or cold, as well when at a stop light or drive thru.
Also, I do not know if this is a related issue, but when driving over mountain pass, 60mph/3k rpm...there is a burning smell. Gauges are all reading fine when this happens. And as soon as engine goes back to 2k rpm range, smell goes away.
Any thoughts on what it could be? Are these issues related? It is scheduled to be in shop again on 30th and I would love to have some idea of what to discuss with service tech. Thank you!!

Hi JoJo66,

If you would like any additional support while your Jeep is in service, please send a PM with your VIN. We'd be happy to open a case and have our handling team reach out!

We just found a chirp in my wife's 2015. It turns out it's from the heater supply and return lines. They are the two silver tubes on the passenger side above the engine. It just came back from service at the dealer and I guess they didn't attach them right. The slightest wiggle causes them to chirp.
