I have read it all about the known issue with the head now on the Pent V6 now that I have searched out info. However, what brought me to this point originally is a loud chirping sound. I seem to hear some ticking maybe, but dont think its bad yet. I could use some opinions. I am going to the dealer in a few days. It only has 7k miles on it. If the chirping is not related to the head problem, do you think I can get the head replacement based on hearing it even though I havent thrown any CEL's yet as well as get this chirping fixed? Just want to make one trip to the dealer if I can help it. The dng brakes are squealing too but thnk its just pads maybe.

Here it is:

Sounds like the A/C compressor pulley to me. To your other question, your asking if you can get a head replaced that doesnt exhibit any problem. Doubtfull. If you hear slight ticking, think injectors. You know when your head is bad.
