So my 12 has the auto climate control. When I first had it last year it seemed to work quite well with the hard top on. Since the summer it seems to hit a point where I have to put the temp to all the way hot where it's a blast furnace once the jeep warms up and I've been driving for a little while or it cranks out cool air

I took it to the dealer and they showed me that at 75 setting the air out if the vent was 75. And then we went full heat and it quickly cranked to 140.

So they are saying it's working correctly. Every other climate control I've had has worked a lot better.

And like I said last April my recollection was the jeep worked better too. So collectively if you have the auto climate do you find it works?

Had ATC on my 2011. If you set it to 75 degrees, the system is supposed to attempt to maintain that temp inside the cabin. Meaning it should blow hotter air until the cabin is warmed up. But I was never impressed with it. The system was never at a happy medium. The ATC in my ex wife's Impala was night and day better.

You could also have an issue with a partially blocked heater core.

I use auto vent mostly and control the fan manually. I find it works better that way (for winter/fall anyway). Seems like in auto vent, warm air is sent to the feet/defrost vents and cold air to the dash vents. So in the summer, I do the opposite and pick the vent mix I like and let it control the fan.
