Hello guys. I dunno if slip is the correct word but when I'm driving my jeep in the early cold mornings, my jeep tends to hop as if I'm popping the clutch. It only does it towards the end of the actual release of the clutch pedal. Its really only noticable in first and second gears. I haven't noticed the problem until it started to get cold out and it tends to go away after the jeep is warmed up. Any ideas?

I think that's normal operation from a cold tranny...mine does it too. Another thing it could be is when the engine is cold, it idles higher to warm the engine up and if your Jeep is like mine, watch when you shift. Your RPMs don't drop down to idle nearly as quickly for a few minutes so you may be burning the clutch a little causing a bit of a shudder.
