I posted a few threads about the install of the Kicker 6.5s (77Kick10) in my dash and soundbar. I had some wiring issues that I had to work through because the factory connectors were removed during a prior speaker replacement. These 77Kick10s are made to simply plug into the factory connectors for an easy upgrade. I just wanted to say that if you want a cheap and easy way to greatly improve your stock stereo sound system, these speakers are the way to go. It will take the better part of an afternoon to install the dash speakers, but the soundbar is simple. I paid under $150 four 4 of these speakers and I am extremely pleased with the clarity and the improved base I am getting out of the stock equipment. Just wanted to pass this along so you can put that money towards more mods. Extreme audiophiles may not agree, but I just wanted to hear music that sounded much better when my top was down. This was the ticket for me.

I bought the speakers for the "plug and play" ease of installation, but when the factory connectors were gone, I had to just put some terminals on the end of the wires. Worked out fine. If you have to do what I did, just check the polarity of you speakers and make sure that's straight. I am very pleased. Can't wait for the temp to come up just a bit so I can keep the top down.
