I'm getting a Po128 code so I thought I'd change out the thermostat. While at it, I want to replace the coolant because it looks a bit dirty to me.

I bought this JKU used (Certified from a dealer) 2 years ago. It didn't come with the manual. So I don't have the specs.

I'm looking for the type of coolant I should be putting in it and the quantity.

Also looking for the thermostat temperature. I use the vehicle as an every-day drive. No off-roading.

Thanks

I think you need OAT coolent vs HOAT in prior years. However get a copy of the owners manual and see what it says. If you mix them, that is a bad bad thing.. maybe even pay to have the dealership change it out. Put the risk on them etc..

You should be able to find the manual here: https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-garage/select-vehicle.html

Chrysler changed from HOAT to OAT in early 2013, most likely you have OAT.

But if you drain your coolant and flush the system with water, you can then put whatever you want in there; I'd go with OAT if I were you.

Thanks for the manual. It says OAT. Doesn't mention thermostat.

There's a lot of other things in that manual I want to check.

For the thermostat, just get the OEM one. No need to change the temperature.
