I'm liking the Cooper STT Pro in 35" class tire. The only load range C tires are for 15" wheels. I'm getting mixed messages whether 15" aluminum wheels should be used on 2015 JK. Anybody have this combo or running 15" wheels on 2015 JK?? Are load rang E tires too stiff??

I do moderate trails, usually air down, light/moderate rock crawling, toad.....

Thanks,

First off, take a few minutes and scan through these threads, lots of good information and will help with some of your decisions. Some people have 15's that clear the brakes, I went with 17" and Cooper STTs

I used the Rough Country 2.5" budget lift kit, had my Tire guys install it. Really like the stance on my Jeep, and I have had zero problems.

Yeah, I have been through most of those threads. I specifically would like first hand experience with the 15" wheels or load range E tires. I see you have the Cooper STT in load range E. Are they stiff? Do you airdown offroad? What type of offroading do you use them for? Do you have the Maxx or Pro tires?

I have just the STT, they are now replaced by the STT PRO. The ride is fine.

I have only been on some fire trails, have not aired down yet, but the reviews I read on these were very positive. You can search Youtube for Cooper STT and see some reviews.

Cheers.

I have 15" black rock wheels and they fit fine on a new jk. Only issue you would have is the placement of weight when when balanced. Mine originally hit rear calipers. You can shave caliper or make sure the weight are places where it can't hit.

I run mine on a 4.5 in BS 17 so they are E range. On the trail I air down to 10 lbs and wheel the crap out of them. On the street I run 23 rear 25 front.
