I just bought the Crown Aluminum valve cover kit for my 98 Wrangler. It is supposed to be complete with gaskets, grommets and bolts.
I notice that the kit contains hex head fasteners all around.
However, the stock fasteners are very different and use a mix of studs and bolts. Some of the stud tops are used to hold wires and hoses in place.
Has anyone else installed this kit and did you reuse some of the stock studs?
Thanks in advance.

Good advice. Thanks. I used the stock fasteners and it worked out just fine.
I do think they are selling you a bill of goods with this kit with the type of fasteners they include. The gasket is stock type and good quality though.
It does seem to reduce engine noise just a bit.
