Been seeing companies that offer front axle shafts with CV Joints, what advantage do CV Joints have over U-Joints?

When my U-joints need replacing, will get greasable ones.

CV joints are smoother, generally stronger, produce no “U joint bind” when cornering, and last longer. But, more expensive. I had RCVs on my last Jeep and will eventually go back them on my new Jeep.

The CV joints are smoother and don't bind at the critical time when your front tires are cornering. Less prone to failure in that condition. But cost $$$.

+1.

I went to RCV's when I replaced my D30 with the Core 44. You can tell the difference.
