Just wondering where the Dampner Clamp/Bracket should be placed on the Tie Rod for the steering stabilizer. Is there a measurement that is standard from the Tie Rod end I should be using? Sorry if this was posted before. I did a search but did not find.

Thanks

If it helps or matters I installed Carolina Metal Masters Drag Link and Tie Rod. And have an OME Steering Stabilizer.

I'm sure someone else will chime in but when I mounted mine I first mounted one side to the axle bracket. THen I let the steering stabilized cycle all the way out, then all the way in. By measuring that I knew how far it would expand when fully open. When I knew how far it opened I divided that number in half and placed the clamp in the position that would have the stabilizer half way open when the steering wheel was straight. Have someone cycle the steering wheel left and right to full lock to ensure you are not binding the stabilizer in either direction and you should be good to go.
