if i am swapping from a dana 35 to a dana 44, is there anything else i will need beyond the axle itself? is the pinion yoke the same on both axles? will my d35 drum brakes work on the d44?

in theory it should just bolt in place of your d35.. I think even your old drive shaft should work just fine...and the brakes should swap over as well...

Might not be true with the driveshaft. If I remember rightly from others that I have seen done, the snout on the 35 is longer than the 44. So you might have to have your shaft lengthened.
