This is for JL. Moving to JL forum.
The lawsuit is 2015-2018 JKs
I was wondering about this too. It doesn't actually say if its for the JL or JK. Pictures are all JLs but as stated above the lawsuit is for 2015 - 2018 JKs which is odd, why not older JKs as well?
Ok moving back to JK. Not what I would call a credible source so who knows which it is really for.
My brother sent me the same thing from a somewhat more legit site:

I read the same article yesterday. It said they would change the steering stabilizer to fix the death wobble. I just laughed at that one.

Yeah, but they're going to dip the new ones in mermaid tears and sprinkle it with powdered unicorn horn. And send John Q. Public Wrangler driver on his/her way none the wiser.

How much a year does that genius make that made that a fix?

Jeep thinks it knows how to kill the “death wobble.”

Just saw this on Fox News:

Bandaid fix for something...and mods may move this to the JL subforums. Too bad they are almost sounding like Boeing now...

The damper has now been reengineered; JL Wrangler owners are being notified that they can ask to have the part replaced for free through a customer service program. A Jeep spokesperson said an internal study found that only the JL Wrangler, introduced for the 2018 model year, requires this particular fix.
I met this woman at the gym recently, she was admiring my Jeep.

She has a brand new JL, and got Death Wobble. That think is brand new and bone stock!

And it took her 3 trips to the dealership to get it fixed for good.
A Fat ass track bar cured mine 75,000 miles ago
Is jeep actually using the words, "Death Wobble?" Seems like they could up with a little more politically correct term like, "track bar issue"

I saw what appeared to be a stock JL with death wobble on the freeway last week. The poor guy in the driver's seat was totally freaked out.
If a front end is set up correctly it doesn't need a steering stabilizer.

It does below in the JL subforum. 3 or 4 threads already generated.

From this OP link below
Chernoby said the complaints about the "Death Wobble" — FCA officials prefer a term like vibration — represented about 2% of the approximately 370,000 new Wranglers built as of June. He did not dismiss the concerns, saying “any steering type vibration will make people concerned for sure.”

Mark my words. All this non-sense lawsuits are going to do is kill the front live axel. Any car with live axle could suffer dead wobble. The proper fix will be to install biffer components and add check front components torque check to regular maintenance every 15K
