I was off roading today and came down pretty hard on the rear. Most of the rock hit my hitch/frame but it did leave quite a big dent in my muffler, however there is no puncture.

Do I need to be worried about anything? This is my DD. I know any may say to upgrade but unfortunately that is not in my budget.

Depends on how big a dent and how much if any it effects back pressure...
Worst case probably just run like crap and get bad MPG...

Still, it is a good excuse to upgrade :)
Glass packs were only like $10 back in the day... Not sure if they are still popular or not...

I doubt it will affect anything if its not a HUGE dent. Post a pic from underneath

Keep an eye out on it. If it broke the baffles then the tone will change. If it's got fabric or glass and start breaking up it will rattle.

Not a great picture to show the size of the dent but trust me it's there.

I have yet to notice any increased noise.

Heck, I may be getting better gas mileage now! :)

Rear mufflers. Bleh, just get rid of it. I know a few guys that run no muffler and it sounds pretty good actually and looks 100% better.

if you have to say "trust me it's there." it is purely a cosmetic issue...

No problem with that one! I have a TJ so the tail pipe is the susceptible part. It hasn't been round since the first trip to the trail after it was installed! No issues running your muffler like that.
