I don't think there are a lot of 6 cylinder diesels that will fit, without a ton of work. Common swaps are the Cummins 4BT and the Mercedes diesel. Also the VW TDIs, but those are much more expensive (time and money). And the real world mileage isn't that great, so if you have aspirations of 40mpg, let me shatter those right now.
