Looking to get a keep but debating on some local 13's that are left in stock.

Getting the 3.73 gears.

This will be my daily and hopefully get me into hitting some of the trails.

Is the dif option a must? For off roading...

Do you mean are the 3.73 gears a must? If you plan on running larger than the stock 29 inch tires yes. But if it is an automatic and you plan on keeping the stock size tires I prefer the 3.21 gears.

They all have a rear differential I do not know anything of this option you speak of. Are you talking about the rear LSD (limited slip differential)?

Limited slip? Sure, why not. Brake-lock diff works great if you get an open anyway.

My 2012 JKU Sport S has LSD and 3:73. It's my DD and weekends off road. I am very happy with the performance. I plan on upgrading to 35's next year and have been advised my 3:73's should still be fine.

I'm assuming you are talking anti-slip/LSD.

For a DD? Yes

If you are going to be doing a lot of off-roading, pass and get a Tru-Trac installed aftermarket.....or lockers.

Just depends on how you will use the Jeep.
