In my 88 yj I recently put 30x9.5's on her from the 235 75 15 I got it with. Befor I had the clearance issues I could turn lock to lock no problem. Now with the 30's on it, it hits the leaf on the left front tire turning hard left. And you know when it's turned to far now. Is the front diff slightly offset to the right side from the factory or is my diff slid to one side

Are you using a different wheel ?
if so i would say they have the wrong off-set.
if they are mounted on different rims then the 235's were you could add a wheel spacer to take care of the problem.

Good idea I might just slap some wheel spacers on and the tires were mounted to the same rims as the 235's
