yup, of all the different homemade discos I've seen, this is the best setup. There are a couple others where people have cut their stock connectors in half and add a removeable link. Have never seen it in person though.
Here's what I did.
You don't need to weld the washer on, but it will keep the pin from wearing out. Also use washers to make a tight fit so you don't get rattles.
Personally, I don't like the homemade discos and ended up just unbolting my sway bar each week we went crawling. With the lift and stock end links it was a pain to put them back on so.... Now I have some JKS quicker discos.
