I worry about breaking or pulling one off while airing-up because the compressor I was using up until my last run had a short hose and it always pulled the stem sideways. That compressor threw a rod and and replaced it with a better/stronger/faster one with a much longer hose - so NOW I'm not as paranoid about it..
..also paranoid about losing a stem-core, but never bought any spares until my wife lost one trying to air down for me.. Now I have two baggies of spares...
yes. after my first set of jk aftermarket wheels, I learned my lesson (rock rash). This time around, I went with Rugged Ridge XHD's and RR wheel protectors for added protection from wheeling. Its a sight for sore eyes when you damage a wheel.
