I am looking for an aluminum 4cyl CJ slave cylinder although i think they were used on other jeeps. The cast iron slave on my jeep gets rusty then starts leaking fluid every few years and im sick of it. If these were made out of aluminum they would last much longer. Anyone ever see one made from aluminum and what brad was it if so?

I remember reading an article in JP mag. Last month or this month that showed a slave cylinder conversation from internal to external. I think it used one from a car, that looked like it was aluminum. I bet you could also buy one through Willwood.

I found the article I mentioned in the Aug.16' JP mag. The slave cylinder was from Advance Adapters. Looking at the picture the cylinder may be plastic! See what you think. Novak is someone also to check with. Hope this helps! Good luck.

I went to advance adapters site and couldn't find anything. I ended up just getting another cast iron slave.
