My doors are adjusted to a pretty much perfect gap all the way around. They close with just a little force. They don't leak (anymore) and sit almost perfectly flush with the body, yet I still get a clunk over bumps. I can make it almost completely gone with three wraps of electrical tape, but then the doors are tough to close.

Is there a trick to adjusting the striker to eliminate the clunk and still close normally?

Also, are the strikers supposed to hit the latch right in the middle, or should they be biased more towards the top or bottom?
