recently herculined my vehicle and was going to leave my drain plugs out since i'm only using a safari top right now. i noticed that the floor boards have two layers with a space in between. i know the top of the floor boards will be fine, but was wondering about water going through the plug and just resting on the bottom layer. was thinking about a rubber tube or something that would direct the water right through the jeep. has anyone done this or do i just have to much time on my hands?

The plugs should be just holes everywhere except the passenger rear footwell plug. If I am not mistaken, thats the heatshield for the cat/muffler. I would leave it alone. It drains a little slower than just a hole, but it certainly wont just pool up there, it does drain.
