Hello jeepers,
I have a question. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on buying new wheels, tires, and a lift.
I was thinking about 35" BFG KO'S and 17" pro comp wheels.

But here is where I'm stuck:
Do I need drive shafts if I buy the 3.5" Rubicon Express Standard Coil Lift Kit with Mono Tube Shocks?

I'd really appreciate your feedback!

Many will recommend new drive shafts for the 2 doors with anything over 3 inches. I'm not sure with the 4 doors and their longer wheel base, but increasing the angle of the drive shaft will certainly increase wear it's going to take.

Also, at that height you will get varying reports of stock drive shaft longevity. I think most will agree it's a matter of time before the little rubber boot near the transfer case fails, you lose all your grease, and it eventually fails. Mine lasted about 8k miles at 3.5" before it started spewing grease everywhere.

Edit: referring to the front
