You will need to make sure the splines on the driveshaft and the final drive line out of the trans match up. But I don't see why these won't work. TJ, YJ, XJ, ZJ .... all this means is body style and different motors. Your older Jeeps 90-97 either had an AX-5(2.5L) or the AX-15(4.0l + 4.2L). Most of your Jeeps are basically the same as far as parts go. Hope this will help. unk:
