To make putting the rear windows back in on my soft top quicker, I tried installing them without using the zipper. Just popped in the plastic on the front and bottom, then velcro the rest. Really makes them super fast to put in/take out. Hit about 75 on the highway and they stayed put.

Any one else been driving around with them just velcro'd in?

I assume your talking about the side windows right? I can unzip /Velcro, the zip back up with Velcro in less then a min each so for piece of mind I'll zip them every time.

The other nice thing about not zipping in the rear windows is it's easier to zip the rear window, as there's not as much tension

What i usually do is unzip back window to the corners on each side then role up window. Use any kind of strap to hold in place and done!
Sorry i meant the back side windows, not the rear window. I guess I wasn't clear. The back side windows have velcro around the top and back edges. The rear window only has a tiny bit of velcro at the bottom.
