I like the idea of the Duratrac, my only concern is the sidewall durability.

The C rated sidewall has two ply

E rated sidewall being 3 ply what if any difference is there in sidewall durability?

Thanks

Woods roads in Maine are very tough on side walls.

I know I don't want 2 ply, just wondering if 3 ply duratrac hold up any better.

I had the E rated Duratracs on mt TJ and they made it drive more like a truck and decreased the mileage. The stiffer sidewall and extra weight of the tire really impacted the ride. After they wore out I switched to the C rated Duratracs and the ride was much better. Unless your climbing rocks the C rated should be fine.
