I'm currently running 33" Toyo Open Country M/T tires on 18" rims, but I have a set of 15x8 wheels sitting in my garage, waiting for me to put some Duratracs on them.

I've heard several times that the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac in 33x12.50x15 actually measures 32x11.50 when mounted on a 15x8 wheel. Using this logic, does this mean that a 35x12.50 will measure out to 34x12ish? The reason I ask is I don't really want to downsize my tires, but I'm not geared to run 35's. I'm thinking I would be OK with 34's.

Does anyone have 35" Duratracs mounted on a 15x8 rim that can verify this?

Thanks. :thumb:

Nevermind, just realized that Goodyear doesn't make a Duratrac in 35" size.

They actually make two that are called 35" tires, but neither is a true 35. I've got 315/75R16's on my Jeep...their "full" measurement is 34.6", but at the PSI I run em they're about 34".

There's another one (forget which size) that measures at 34.4".

I run mine on a 16x8 rim.
