I just got this 04 Wrangler and new the tires would need replacing pretty soon. One is worn out like it was never rotated, one is great, the other two are ok. No wonder it rides a little strange huh.
Anyways, I don't see any sense in getting new 225/75's when I want to upgrade to new tires in the next year. Might as well do a budget lift, some black steelies which seem pretty cheap, and go for the big tires. If I go with a 2" budget lift, 15" wheels, and 32" tires for now....I'm 'assuming 33's would fit on the same wheels no problem later?? Shouldn't cost much more than double to do all this rather than just replacing the stock tires.
Also, would 10" or 10.5" wide tires have them sticking out of the fenders much? I think 12's would be a bit too wide since its a DD. How about backspacing? With a 2" budget type of lift and 32's....do I need to worry about this?
Sorry for more newb questions.
