Engine temp indicator shows running at proper temp, but radiator cool to the touch. And no heat from heater.
When first noticed problem, I discovered radiator low on anti freeze, it was below top of core, Added maybe 1/4 gallon, then it was full. And then I filled reservore.
Ran for 20 + minutes, temp of radiator felt warm at best and cap still cool ,
When cap removed antifreeze is cold, heater not putting out much heat,
Heater finally started putting out a little heat. (warm not hot air).

It sounds like your thermostat is stuck open. Try putting a new one in that should take care of it.

Thank you all, I will do both the thermostat and the heater core.

Does anyone know anything about bleeding the cooling system.

Or about a Fail Safe ? for the cooling system.

Do not under any circumstances use a Fail Safe thermostat they are junk. It will end up locking in the open position the first time your engine gets up to operating temp, then you'll have to do it all over again, trust me they suck.
