Only 9000 miles and engine light came on
Gas cap is tight
Does make a deep weird noise when turning on and engine is cold
Any ideas or have similar issues

Most common reason for early engine lights in 2012s--and perhaps 2013s--that I'm aware of is the "ticking issue" that will eventually require to have your engine heads replaced under warranty. Do some research on that issue (if you haven't already) and take it to your dealer.
