So winter hits and everytime I start the 2011 black ops jeep with 7500 miles on it, the lifters on drivers side are clacking away, So i change oil filters a few times and top it off hopeing its filter sensitive. Tried all the top brands with antidrainback valves, of course no fix so now its time to call the dealer and they get it on Thur.call me me Friday morning and yep its bad lifters the hole drivers side but itll be fixed by 4pm on sat., ok great. I recieve a call at 3 from dealer and they replaced all lifters and everything went perfect but after two cold starts its still making same noise and the're not sure what to do so they're gonna keep it and speak with Chrysler and dealership owner to find out what to do. So i knew when i bought this thing I was getting the same sheitty chrysler engine thats in every v6 pile of sheit chrysler/dodge minivan out their but come'on 6 bad lifters from the factory then obviously bad replacements or theirs something even worse wrong the engine. Not to mention its been in for two other issues prior to this, so whatever little faith I had in chrysler is pretty much running out quickly............................................

Well as funny as the mexican motor crisis is thats now been started.... The latest on my jeep so far is a little frustrating, I recieved a call from the dealership mon. stating that the jeep made no noises for the shop foreman and everything was thought to be good but they wanted to keep it one more day because it was around 50degrees and they wanted to give it a true cold start first thing in the morning so ok cool, well then i hear nothing all day today, so i finally decide to call at 3 sure enough it made the same bad lifter noises as the day i brought it in so they are now speaking with chrysler about what the next steps to take are, they had already checked the other jeeps on the lot to confirm it was worse than the normal cold start noises from the factory per chryslers instruction and they started 8 of them 2 of which hadnt been started in over a week not a one they told me none of them made anything close to the same as what mine does so they relayed that to chrysler and where still waiting a reply when i had called so im in the dark now as to what the next chapter of stories will be from chrysler corp. and the dealership, any ideas as to what they will suggest???????? Or have to check/test next. by the way thanks for all the replies/suggestions/thoughts very informative as well as funny.......this forum and its members are one of the best ive been on....

So the latest and greatest from chryslers wonderfull world of engineers is they want the dealership to replace the pushrods?????????????????????????????????????????????? Because the mechanics definetily didnt check them when they replaced the lifters...................even they are annoyed with them.......just really starting to get pissed about this, i didnt pay almost $40000 for this jeep to be driving a rental for two weeks.
