I have a 98 Tj 2.4l
I am experiencing a small engine studder in all gears during acceleration at the 3000 rpm mark.

The motor has a new radiator, head, head gasket. I just had a new muffler and cat welded in place too. The head work was done 3 months ago by the previous owner.

Plugs, wires and distributor cap look new'ish but the previous owner didn't say that they were and I didn't ask.

Any thoughts or things I should look for?

Drove the jeep today. It's not a jerky studder. It's more like a slight loss of power at that rpm range.

Any thoughts would be great!
