Just curious:
90-94* f ambient temp
60-65 mph- flat road country w/ no major inclines and no real traffic surrounding me
3" lift
35x12.5R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
New radiator a few months back.
What engine temp would expect to run?
I noticed the other day that w/o the A/C the temp will run in the low 200's (206-210 range) unless I accelerate hard and then it will increase to 217-ish.
Switch on A/C and temp, while driving, was increasing to 222-228.
Normal operating temp in these conditions?

That's the range I see here in AZ, although I see 205F ~ 226F just driving around with the AC off, top down, doors off. For the two or three months in the summer that the top and doors are actually on, the range is narrower but the high end remains at about 226F.

that seems about right at least for me here in HI. It lives at 221-223F city and freeway driving. Down hill colder temps (its doesnt go below 70 here on Oahu) 208-217F. Long hill/moutains drives it spikes to 230-231 then tapers down to 222F. Just replaced the thermostat and coolant a month ago.

Hot, cold, a/c, defrost, heat; needle in the middle. Sometimes a little to the right under lo g stress, sometimes a little to the left just after long stress.
