I have a 2012 with 3.6L auto and 10K miles and I just noticed that you can hear a slight "ticking" sound on engine startup. It goes away after a few seconds and only seems to happen in the morning after sitting overnight. Is this normal or something to get the dealer involved in? I hate to take it to the dealer since they will need it overnight to get a true cold start.

The 3.6 is a little noisy, especially on cold start up. As long as you don't have any codes or check engine lights, you should be fine.
I have read where some changed to a different weight oil and it helped.

^^^Yep, there are several on the Forum, me included that went with a 5W-30 synthetic oil, and yes it does make a difference!!!!!!!!

But all of the 3.6 engines, will make some noise at cold start up. This just seems to be the normal!
