I recently replace my radiator, thermostat, water pump, OEM exhaust manifold (the aftermarket header was :censored:, umm poop). The engine was running about 190 degrees. For some reason, after a hot day (mid 90s) last week, I can't seem to get the engine temp above 155. And the heater won't blow hot air. I assume (you know what they say about assuming) that the TStat is stuck open. Are there any other reasons that this could happen?

The current TStat is a 185.

How's the coolant level?

If you used a "fail safe" thermostat, it may have have "failed" and is now in wide open position, especially if your coolant level was down. I'm not a fan of those thermostats.

Since your engine isn't getting up to temperature, the thermostat can't be working properly.
