Rails are in. The box they came in looked like it was dragged through the scene in the first Terminator movie where all the machines are blowing stuff up! Box was destroyed upon arrival but the rails were nicely wrapped up. The bag with washers, bolts etc was short one threaded clip. Will have to pick up one from the hardware store.

Hey, yes was there last year before it closed for winter. We did Kodiak Rock, Dickey Bell, parts of Daniel (not sure because we didn't realize we were on it for a bit). I'd like to head down again with a group. You going soon?

Its Rustoleum Reformer. It coats in a flat/matte black stopping rust and preventing new surface area rust from starting.

10th mod Installed the Barricade Enhanced Rubi Rails this morning. I love working on the jeep with coffee in hand. 
Install was a breeze, took about 30 minutes maybe. The supplied package with bolts and such was missing a threaded clip as shown in the photo above but using the threaded clips was not necessary. Barricade supplies you with hardware for a few different body designs. I suppose some of the earlier JKs had a few holes underneath that required them but as for my 2013 it did not need them.
There are four bolts already attached to the rails that simply line up with the holes near the pinch seems.

One of the holes on the jeep was slightly misaligned but no big deal as you can just man power the rails through it when inserting them. Photo shows how just the top part of the hole's circle is a little cut off by the pinch.

All others on the jeep were fine with no issues.

Talk with Ryan (Extremeterrain.com vendor rep here) about ordering them. He can get you a discount for first time purchases 10%. Then you will get a forum code unique to you that you can use/apply for all additional purchases with them of 6%.
I really like the look of them very much. I'm also glad to have a step now for the others in my family who are not 6ft 2" tall like myself.

Thanks for the info man. Just waiting to hear back from Ryan. Looks like Barricade solved all of the issues they were resolving when they first came out. Growing pains!

Nice Jeep. I see you have the AT's up for sale, what are you running now? (BTW Uwharrie opens on the 1st of April but there is also a "Spring Jamboree" hosted by UORTC right across from the Store on April 11th, some Vendors and stuff to see but most of all herds of Jeeps and every other type off off road rig you can imagine on the trails.)

I love that you have a cop car in one picture, and what looks like a security guard in another! Looks like you attracted some attention.

That was great actually because he was a jeeper too! He had come back to watch us finish the job that evening.
